SPEAKING . . . OF SPEAKING

Today was a banner day. Two things happened that made me happy. Jonathon gave his first talk in Primary. That is the children's opening exercises in our church. Rob helped him and he was very cute. Rob basically stood behind him and whispered everything he was supposed to say in his ear and Jono repeated it into the microphone--but he did it! There were two other kiddo's on the program, one to give a prayer and one for a thought. The one giving the prayer was too shy to stand at the podium. The one with the thought did but they forgot to turn his mike on. It's really cute to watch these little ones learn to speak in front of each other--especially when it is a large group. They were all very reverent, too.

The second thing I'm not just happy about -- I'm THRILLED about! My Aunt Kaye had some of her tubes removed today and was able to start trying to talk to her family. Her throat is very sore--so her talking is more of a whisper and hard to understand--but she is communicating! She knows her family and she kissed them and was happy they were there. We are so excited to know she is making progress. Please keep your prayers for her going. We love her so much and want her to get better. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
