Carly read her first book to me today. She read it all the way through without stopping and without missing messing up any words! Yay! Just Friday I realized she was still having trouble with a few sight words so we've spent the weekend working on them and she made huge progress. She knows them really well now. I am so happy with how well she is doing! She has these tiny kind of homemade paper books her teacher sends home every week to learn on that she practice on with me. However, this was her first real book she read. It wasn't long but it was age appropriate! I'm so proud of my baby girl! Congrats Carly! You are a reader! The world has just opened up to you! I love you!
