THIRTEEN THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MY HUSBAND

1. He is extremely supportive of me . . . always.
2. He loves me deeply and tells me he loves me every day several times.
3. He has a great sense of humor and can always make me laugh or smile.
4. He truly wants me to be happy and shows it by his actions.
5. He is a genuinely good and kind person. I love his heart.
6. He loves each of his daughters dearly and wants the best for them--even when they sometimes can't see it yet.
7. He works really hard to take care of us and he is really good at what he does. I'm very proud of him.
8. He is really, really intelligent. I mean, he has the kind of intelligence where he could go back to college tomorrow (at age 47) and get straight A’s without really studying. Maybe that doesn’t impress you but it does me!
9. He is a gentleman . . . still opens doors for me and helps me with my chair, etc. I love being treated like a princess.
10. He is a very good father. I especially love to watch him with Carly. He is so adorable with her and she really responds to him.
11. He treats me as a full partner in our marriage. I don’t walk behind him; but beside him.
12. He still holds my hand everyday and puts his arm around me whenever we are sitting beside each other.
13. I just love being with him. I hate it when he is away. I love having him home early from work or on the weekends—anytime. He is my best friend.
**(Plus, he's just so darn HANDSOME!)

14 Things I Love About Your Husband:
1 - Taught me how to ride a bike.
2 - Stayed up late to help me figure out the basic and the more complex aspects of anything, be it building something, my math homework, a science project, or just life in general.
3 - Showed me what a good man, husband and father should be.
4 - Taught me what it means to believe in something so much that it's just a way of life, not so much in words but in the little things he probably didn't think I'd notice.
5 - The love and dedication he shows his wife, both now and in the past.
6 - The friendship and wisdom he's shown to both his daughters, neighbors and siblings, all of whom look up to him for it.
7 - The way it's ok to be a father-daughter team and still be best friends.
8 - Setting up tents and chopping firewood out in the 'wilderness' of girl's camp each year while everyone else played with marshmallows and Oreos.
9 - The way someone who lives so far away (or so it seems) it still my hero and role model in life, the type of person I hope I can be.
10 - Seeing him happy with his family, both old and new.
11 - Watching how someone who seems to be somewhat rough around the edges turns into a total teddy bear around his new baby daughter (who he happens to enjoy as much as any of the rest of us do).
12 - Seeing him reading little kids books to himself while he eats lunch by himself. (These are the same books he used to read me when I was a kid).
13 - The way having such and interesting and complicated relationship with my own father teaches me more about my other father, and most of all,
14 - Having someone of my very own to call "Dad".

Love you guys :)
