JUST STUFF

We all got dressed today. May I have a standing ovation please? We just didn't leave the house. We decided not to do a dry run on tomorrow. It would probably go over best if we don't rehearse it. So, tomorrow we have a blood test and a class on Dad's knee surgery about an hour from our house. The stairlift is completely charged and working! Yay! We did do some dry runs with it. I've been having Mom come up and down with it since her foot isn't in the greatest shape. No, need to overuse it. I do think her physical therapy is helping her foot but still she might as well not overuse it when she doesn't have to.

Rob has been in Deleware training for his job for the last two weeks so he has been in the middle of these snowstorms. He got snowed into his hotel for the second time today. He is supposed to fly home tomorrow--so please pray with me that he will be able to do so safely. The airport he is coming from is closed and all flights cancelled today. Hopefully, all will be well for tomorrow.

Carly is going to be two on Monday. Can you believe it? Me neither. Wow, time sure flies. She is so grown up--in her mind. She sure acts like she is and almost convinces me of it at times. She is a funny little thing. Right now she is scared of "dugs" or bugs. And for some reason she keeps finding them and goes nuts until someone gets rid of the dug! It has not always been a real bug. Sometimes its a piece of paper or a candy wrapper rolled up but we haven't been able to convince her! So we just kill whatever she thinks is alive and throw it away and that seems to satisfy her. Lol!

It's pretty cold here right now--only 29 degrees. It's been a good few days to stay indoors. At least we don't have the white stuff, too. Well, I'm going to crawl under my warm blankets now. Good night.
