Carly and I went back to music class today and this time she was not nearly as shy. She played with the other kids, danced, clapped and made farm noises. She even shared maraccas and drumsticks and put them back when she was supposed to. She only started to cry once when she had to put something back but she got over it quickly. I'm really impressed at how quickly she is settling into the environment and learning. She got her own CD of music today and we listened to it at home. It was some of the same stuff we were doing in class. She recognized it and started dancing around and laughing. It was really fun to see her response to it.
She's got her darn cold back all of a sudden. The last couple of days she has started coughing again. I really noticed it this afternoon. It seems like we keep passing it around the house from one to another--never completely getting rid of it. I can't wait for SPRING!
