DAD'S IN SURGERY

They took Dad to the surgery about 7:35 our time but the doctor told us it wouldn't begin until just before 8:00 a.m.. We expect the surgery to last just under two hours. We did find out yesterday that his hip has some arthritis and is somewhat involved in his pain but they are not going to do anything about it. Apparently, he has some bone spurs in the hip but not bad enough to do anything to it now.

Dad was in pretty good spirits this morning although he was nervous. But then who wouldn't be? Mom, me and Jim and Jane Ann are in the waiting room just hanging out for some news. My sister Sarah should be here any minute as well. Susan will be here in a couple of hours. I will updated this as soon as we hear anything. Please pray hard for my Dad. Thanks!
