THANK YOU PRESIDENT BUSH . . .
for keeping us safe since 9/11. I realize most people want to criticize you for one reason or another, but I really just want to say thank you. I believe you are a good man with a genuine heart and I thank you for your hard work on behalf of what should be a very grateful nation. I believe time and history will show you did your best. Thank you Mr. President and God Bless You.

I agree, absolutely, but now we have to pray, pray, pray that our current president will be guided toward correct decisions. I'm quoting Glen Beck here.
Nancy, I agree. The Bush-hate frenzy got way out of control. One thing I really appreciate about him is that he did what he thought was right for the country despite what his critics thought. It's nice to have someone stand for something and not be swayed too greatly by public opinion. I have even thought about writing him a thank you note. My fear with Obama is that he is so wildly popular now that he'll do anything he can to stay popular. The problem is--you can't please everyone all the time. We'll see. I want to believe he'll bring about great things. Shelli
