Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:
“Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the Unted States.”
Someone sent this to me. I don't know whether it's real or not--in the sense that someone is honestly trying to get it passed. I sure think it would be a great addition to the Constitution given where our current lawmakers have taken us. They have put themselves above the law and that is not acceptable. Well, that's how I feel anyway. I'm just sayin'.
