Today I picked green beens, Swiss Chard, beets, lettuce and tomatoes from my garden and we had a lovely tasting meal. Of course we did add to that some delicious tasting home grown corn a neighbor brought by and some bacon to go with the oh so tasty home grown tomatoes. Mmmm Mmmm good! I can't believe I am actually growing something. Who knew my thumbs were green? I certainly didn't! I can't keep a house plant alive to save my life but I am loving this new ability to garden outside!
